well, just I want to say what ever it will looks like ,, nothing that run's with vanilla OS will match !!!!

so its like a iphone! but how about the charger? if you're gonna watch movies on it, how bout the battery? won't it run it? :>

I can't see Apple doing what ToX suggests and coming out with a number of screen formats. The great innovation of the iPhone was that a single screen size means all current and future apps will work on all current and future hardware. Also, given what we know about Newspapers and Magazines publishing for this platform does rather suggest a standard screen size

these designs are insane! i'm definitely looking forward to seeing these products for real.

i wonder if this will be more like a PDA using touch technology (which would be so awsome) or just a clone of the i pod touch but bigger. Also how will anyone be able to store that for moving on the go!?

Mac OS X inside and video-out port on a 300 to 600 g small device tablet. That is all needed for success. The iPod touch is too limited with its crippled OS inside.

The MacBook Air is too heavy and large, besides being port-limited.

Or bring a MacBook Air mini at 1/4 the MacBook Air size, no more than 600 g and with real independent ports: video-out, Ethernet, Firewire, USB2, SD card.

Or bring them all: iPod TABLET, Mac TABLET and MacBook TABLET. This is certainly the best approach, for anyone to get any of them.

developers will hate apple!

snow leopard has lots more character recognition, so there might be a chance it runs snow leopard.

I just hope its not another version of the OS, otherwise we'll have developers making THREE different flavours of OS X Apps, and that's just silly.

its not going to be OSX unless Snow lepard REALLY is being altered for touch...Ever use that POS HP touch computer with Windows??? its not about just touching, its about functionality.

This Sept is gonna be wild with Tethering... MMS... Ipod refreshes... Tablet..verizon... who knows!!!! Snow lepard...MARBLE rumors might end up being TABLET code :)

I think it would be a larger version of the iPhone, but hope that the picture above of the mac touch mockup would be released. To be able to fold a computer in different ways for different tasks is genius.

I think it will need to be a lot bigger than 10 or 11" if its going to a workable device running OS X???

a device just the size of 3 iPhones (roughly) would still be very awkward to use if you are running OS X apps...

Not confirmed, but its pretty much as good as confirmed... Large respectable newspapers are reporting it, and manfacturers are 'leaking' information... all sounds like it could be true...

I hope it will function like an oversize iPhone/iPod. That will be great cos then everyone will already know how to use it when it launches.

We're hearing that the Tablet MIGHT include the new ARM 1Ghz mobile processor... it seriously kicks and is VERY energy efficient...

This will be great, I think apple if going to change the way we use computers especially around the house.

I can't wait for this tablet. I wonder what final dimensions will be. I've already started shopping for a pair of jeans with pockets big enough to fit a 10" screen in. This product is going to change my life. Although I kinda of do hope this has a stylus pen and be powerful enough to run Photoshop. Would be so cool for designing then.
