Apple Now Accepting iPad Apps

The iPad’s official launch is only about two weeks away, and Apple wants to make sure all of those new iPad owners actually have something to download besides upscaled iPhone apps, so they have started taking iPad app submissions from developers. Outlined in an email sent out to iPhone app developers today, those who want their apps to be included in the iPad App Store’s grand opening must upload their work to iTunes Connect by no later than 5:00 PM PDT, March 27th. This will give Apple’s reviewers enough time to sift through all of the entries and provide details about the readiness of the apps, whatever that means.
