i just screwed up cutting my sim card with scissors, and i cutted it even more so now im stuck with only the metal chip left, all i used was the biggest part of what i cut off from the start and used a piece of tape and it works fine in my normal phone now, (without the adapter) so all u need to get it back to a normal phone again is a piece of tape ;)

Being in the industry I would not recommend cutting the SIM cards down, one twist of the card or cutters can damage the SIM & contacts, just bear in mind the brass contacts have an extremely fine connector, finer that a hair & a lot more delicate, going to the microchip. Any one that sells Microchips & adapters are a winner by me, besides if you've just purchased a iPad or iPhone 4 is it really worth the risk of damaging the unit or SIM for a few bucks?

Hey guys I bought the adaptor and it worked great. I used a dremel tool to cut it and it worked out perfect. No need to buy special cutting tools even a razor blade will work.. Here is the catch AT&T new I was using my sim in my iPad. They sent me a text message and told me I must purchase a data plan for use in the iPad. The disclamier said they can automatically add this charge to my bill if I continue you use. In the end i paid for something I can't use.

For some networks, including Orange UK, you have to enter the APN settings into your iPhone.

Go to Settings > General > Network > Cellular Data and enter 'orangeinternet' (no quotes) into the APN field. Leave username and password blank.

Now reboot your phone and start surfing.
