How to make wallpapers for your iPad

The iPad is unique in that the screen can rotate, so your wallpapers will either have black bars down the side, or look slightly out of focus when the iPad is rotated in the direction opposite to that of your chosen wallpaper. So what’s the solution?

Well the iPad runs at a resolution of 1024 x 768, so by creating wallpapers at 1024 x 1024 means you will always have a wallpaper that look sharp and crisp in either orientation.

Thanks to The Bob Blog for the info, and we’ve included some of his wallpapers for download too. Be sure to check out his blog.

To download simply hold your finger down on the image and click Save Image. The high res image will save down to your iPad’s Photo Album.
