Currency and Units Converter for iPad gets update
On launching the app the entire, portrait mode screen is filled by three windows on a mahogany desktop. The slim, Category window on the left contains 11 rectangular buttons, each with an icon and text label: area, currency, energy, length, power, pressure, speed, temperature, time, volume, and weight. The Converter window in the upper right is 2/3 of the screen wide, and can be populated with any number of horizontal, scrolling, unit display windows stacked upon each other.

The last is the numerical Keypad window in the lower right, containing large keys for easy entry. There is no Enter key included, as all conversions are updated and displayed in real time as quantities are keyed in. The new favorites and conversions management features allow the user to preset the conversions they use most frequently in the currency and measurement units categories. For example, the user can preset the 5 currencies they are most interested in, and upon touching the Currency button in the Categories window, those currencies will be displayed in the Converter window. Tapping any of the 5 activates it, and as the user enters a quantity in that currency, the conversions appear simultaneously in the other 4 display windows.
