The iPad is a fun device for all, but over the past few months schools and University’s have seen it as as valid replacement to the desktop PC traditionally used in the education system. Private schools are expanding the use of new technologies in classrooms, rolling out iPads to help teachers and students with learning. At least five Sydney schools will trial the tablet computers in select classes this year.
Private boys’ school Trinity Grammar bought 360 iPad’s for year 12 students and teachers. Students will use them to do homework and take notes in class.
