Apple have updated their Australian site to state that the iPad launch has been pushed back a month. Australian iPad fans will have to wait til ‘late April’, to get their hands on the WiFi version of the iPad, and even later for the 3G edition.

Officially announced by Apple, the iPad will launch in the USA on April 3rd now, with pre-orders available from March 26th.

Analysts believe that a small delay in release of the iPad is due to hardware production problems; however, it may actually be due to software. Yesterday analysts at Think Equity said checks with Taiwan indicated some slight delays in the gearing up in production of the iPad. Their report corroborated an earlier one by Canaccord [...]

The above was easily achieved by enabled a passcode lock, and then entering it incorrectly about 5 times. You can then slide for a emergency call.
